the SCV had a few live theater houses in town, but nothing of the style and quality that would attract professional performers and artists from around the world.

10 years ago, the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center, located on the Valencia campus of College of the Canyons, opened its doors to an enthusiastic public. Since then, season after season The PAC (As it’s become known) has played host to tremendous talent ranging from well known pop and country artists and live theater performances, to eclectic performers and talent from around the world.

Celebrating their 10th season.

The Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center began its 10th season in August with the live theatrical production Shrek, The Musical, as performed by the Santa Clarita Regional Theatre. Comedian Paula Poundstone helped to kick off the month of September, and since then artists such as LeAnn Rimes, Dave Mason, and Mavis Staples have soothed the souls of music fans from all over the SCV.

But it doesn’t end with just musical performances. The Santa Clarita Ballet, world champion magician Jason Latimer, and Jack Hanna (Host of Jack Hanna’s Into The Wild) have wowed audiences of all ages.

The PAC even opened their doors to local talent last month by hosting their first ever Open Mic Night, with talent ranging from musicians and poets, and even featured a 10 year old stand up comic.

A great time without breaking your budget!

Despite being a state-of-the-art professional venue, ticket prices at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center are incredibly reasonable, even for the most sought-after acts. In many cases, they offer shows in their Black Box Theater for as little as $10. The most wonderful part of it is, the PAC is in your own back yard! No matter where you live in the Santa Clarita Valley, the Performing Arts Center is only minutes away, without fighting snarling traffic to get to the same type of performances you’ll find in downtown Los Angeles.
